The Hawkes Bay Wine and Food Society as the host society for the third joint Convention of the Federation of Wine and Food Societies of Australian and New Zealand invite you to participate in a wonderful few days in the sunny Hawkes Bay, the Art Deco capital and Wine Country region of New Zealand.

PRE-CONVENTION TOURS
Thursday 19th April
A tour around the premium Hawkes Bay wine growing area of Gimblett Gravels and a tasting at Trinity Hill of the exceptional Gimblett Gravels wines.
Lunch will be at the picturesque Black Barn winery. In the evening, dinner will be at Craggy Range Terroir restaurant.
Friday 20th April
The art deco trust will take you on a short walking tour of the city of Napier and a coach tour of some of the interesting Art Deco buildings.
Lunch will be at the Cape Kidnappers prestige golf course with panoramic views of the Bay. .
CONVENTION PROGRAMME

The registration will be at the Crown Hotel Napier. The welcome and dinner at the historic Mission Estate Winery restaurant on the hill overlooking Napier
Saturday 21st April 2012
It will be working clobber and gloves for a grape picking experience extraordinaire followed by a grape picker’s lunch and fine wines at Clearview. After a restful afternoon the formal dinner will be held in the Barrel Room of Church Road Winery where we will be comparing some great Australian and New Zealand wines. Leading caterer “Dish” will match delicious food to the wines.
Sunday 22nd April 2012
Our final function will be a luncheon at the historic Ormlie Lodge and besides superb food and wines we will have a lovely surprise.
